Mystery Daredevil Cowl?

I found some photos from Comikaze 2014 where a big display case of Comic Movie helmet were on display and one of them is of a really cool Daredevil cowl that is similar to the Affleck DD cowl but without leather and more industrial in design.

Any info on this thing or even whose booth this was? Some really killer pieces in there.

Its a prototype from the 2003 movie, the design company went through a lot of designs before settling on leather with an undershell.
