My takes on the BTTF Nike Bag- lots of pics

Awesome, u know where i can buy any resin from? I've never used it before

you can get a can of resin at Lowe's and Home depot in the paint section, and also at Walmart, it's usually around 11 bucks at wallyworld and 12-14 at the home improvement places around here. Get a couple cheap paintbrushes, like the 50 cent to a dollar ones so you can just throw them out when you are done.

Okaaay, buying fiberglass resin in a few days from Auto Zone for like 17 bucks, i found a better way to put the handles... Upside down haha! I'll need shorter screws/bolts so they dont stick out like this

I also used the plastic film for some windows which i taped onto some EVA foam that fits inside the tube. I first applied pressure of the outside tube to imprint on the foam to cut it to a good fit, then took a bucket lid (8 inch i believe) and pressed it to cut the inner hole where tue film would go.

Then cut the film and taped it to the back/inside of the foam

It doesn't have to be pretty, its all on the inside and doesn't show
And here it is with some windows! Maybe use wood for the rings and then hot glue in some acrylic windows, if i find some of the film i'll do it to be more screen accurate

Next I gotta size the font and print the decals. All will improve on the next one since i got about 24 inches of extra tubing!

I am making a BTTF "inspired" bag and I am struggling how to do the handles. Today I was in a Bunnings and found some quite nice Stainless Steel handles in their kitchen department and had a major doubt as to how exposed handles would look. Yet after seeing your BTTF bag, I don't think it is that big a deal breaker any more. My bag will be covered in a carbon fibre vinyl wrap and I think SS handles could look OK.
