First of all, incredible work. I love the full spandex body suit with the hands. Do you happen to still have the contact info for Maggie from China? I'd love to have a couple of suits made for a very similar project.
Thanks and Great Work !
Kris
I found her through eBay, but after visiting The RPF I found out she really was Maggie from China. Here's her official website: http://www.cosfun.cn/. I thought I would be saving cash by winning the suit on eBay, but in the end, I paid the same amount I would've if I had ordered straight from her website (about 36 bucks with expedited shipping). Once you order a Small, Medium or Large, you'll have to send her additional measurements like chest, upper leg and so on. You also get to choose the type of zipper, mask, color and finish of the suit too. I for one LOVE the my finished suit.
Sweet ! Thank so much for the assist, my man. You've been a great help
Just stumbled on this thread. I to have no frikin idea who Scott Pilgrim is but nonetheless the costume is VERY nicely done. I like the faux skin spandex. Nice job :thumbsup
Hope the costumes were a hit. Can't wait to see pics from SDCC.
Oh man, I got stopped for photos 178 times in 2 hours. I wasn't even aware that there were so many Scott Pilgrim fans at SDCC, but I think at least half of those people thought I was Archie Andrews :lol
But that helmet was a KILLER. I could only wear the thing for 15 minutes at a time before having to take a break (or maybe I should quit smoking, huh?). I have grand plans for next year. I gotta figure out how to mold and cast the thing so I can make a lighter helmet and THEN I'm gonna craft helmets based on the rest of the cast for my buddies. One year to go!
Since we're all on a Scott Pilgrim kick now... Did you finish the costumes for the entire cast this year?
Kudo's for not going the movie version road.:thumbsup
