My Real Hovering Hoverboard Display

Man that is soooooooooooooooo awesome. Just curious...what would a finished pair of Mags cost me? I'm barely at a "n00b" build level so I'd have to have it done, but what kind of price would I be looking at down the road? Oh and I'm a size 11...not sure if that effects anything. Also...this is probably not the right thread but I'm tired haha. Third addition: Jedifyfe rocks.

For official mags like these the only thing you can do as of now is check prices on ebay. The asking rate is between 4-6K but on average they go for about 4. If you're asking about replicas it all depends on who is making them. I bought a pair of S02's for $590 but they are only a size 9 and i'm an 11 so I knew I wouldn't be able to wear them.

i think i'd have to set it up with the single magnet just love the rotation embed the base in a pedestal and embed the other part f the magnet in the board then recover the decal

The collection is growing :)

Thanks guys, its an acrylic case I had made for me. Now I have to figure out how to display the footwear bag when it comes.

I wonder if it could be used to levitate a starship, like the Enterprise NS-01. Or maybe the Destiny off of SGU. That would be cool.

This technology could be integrated in to many things, but yeah the lighter the better. My board is foam and I was using 2 magnets, each hold about 5 pounds. The lighter the object the higher the float. The only issue I ran in to was using 2 magnets in tandem, had to alter one of the bases for it to be stable.

No pics of just the shoes on the hoverboard?

I set it up like that at first, but with the added weight of the shoe the float height was cut in half and not as impressive. I'm waiting till the Matty board comes out to permanently modify the foam one to house the magnets. Once both magnets are installed it will hold more weight.

First of all I wanted to tell you that you have make some great job(work) on l hoverboard. Congratulation. J I even bought a hoverboard but saw as I am no genius(engineering) of the sciences I am a little lost. Could you say to yourself exactly the rooms(parts, plays) which it is necessary? Magnets are neodyme? Has you he an electric current there? Used you of the sensors of position?

Thank you.
