You got this lol I’ll be honest I have no clue what I’m doing and just winging it as I go ever since spiderman came out in 02 2 year old me wanted his suit not just a Halloween costume but his exact suit

That's just as good a way to do it as any! Sometimes I wish I chose that path instead of "Must make everything myself."

You should let those webs sit for like 2 weeks before applying them if you used sharpie. I think SpideyPlanet used to wait two weeks then run them through the top rack of his dishwasher if I remember correctly. But don't quote me on that.

The suit these webs are going onto is going to be my battle damaged piece so I don’t mind if it stains a little bit since I’ll be tearing and airbrushing the suit soon

Man, you don't slow down! Every time I pop in here you're doing a new piece.

A nice trick someone showed me: You can actually glue the rough sides down so the front of the muscles are super clean and smooth.

I plan on taking the rough pieces to the Dremel after its all glued

Well the webs based on ken landrums files came in today pretty great for a budget option as it was only 190 in total will be great for what I’m subbing the landrum suit

I just read this whole thread and it is amazing! I'm currently working on the same Raimi build and wanted to know exactly what glue you are using for the webs? I saw on Aegidius's etsy that he recommends Flex Gel Superglue but can you show me a picture of the brand you are using? Lots of glues come up when searching haha

Thank you! So I know you decided to use a urethane kit but currently, I'm resin 3d printing a web positive in keyed bits to fit onto my printer and will make a ulracal plaster negative mold. Does anyone know the exact type of urethane rubber used to make webs?

I’m not entirely sure what kind of urethane rubber is used I’d recommend emailing Brad from spidey4fun or aegidiusdesigns on Instagram

You probably want something around a 30A shore urethane, like Vytaflex 30.

The suit came in today while not perfect it will be good for a first version of this suit I have another pattern I plan on using in the future
