Harbinger thanks for posting the link to the T-shirt Lights on ebay.
It would be nice to see a handlink made before the end of 2009, since there's been little progress this year.
Let's try and break the curse of the Handlink!

Not sure if I posted this before since its so long ago because I was very interested with the EPROM.

This is because I believe that the EPROM in there is being used to sequence the LED lighting. So, the series of 1's and 0's in there is very important. I wonder if the original prop still exists and we can copy the EPROM data out. Heck, I would even by an EPROM reader/programmer (even though the technology is obsolete) just for this!

PIH had one for sale a few years ago, bundled with one of the "Evil Leaper" handlinks as well. I seem to recall the two were split up as I later saw the Evil Leaper link in another collection, but I don't know who purchased the gummy bear...

I found this piece in the PIH Auction 24 Catalogue.

Looks nothing like the original piece, for a start the coloured acrylic pieces aren't all there in their, and there appear to be no LED blocks on the front side. Plus there seems to be a single AA or AAA battery powering the thing, not the standard J-type that we know has been used on previous Hero pieces.

I found this piece in the PIH Auction 24 Catalogue...Looks nothing like the original piece...

I think they more accurate one that came with the Evil Leaper's handlink was sold prior to the piece you have pictured. I may still have the catalogue. Let me check...

I think these LEDs would be perfect for the Gummi handlink LED blocks.

All we need is someone with some clear resin and a few pigments to cast the blocks and wire up the electronics.
