My Predator Sound System

Very sad that sellers don't consider good communication being part of customer service. And even more sadly that you received a malfunctioning piece of hardware .
And to add insult to injury you had to fix yourself.
I hope members are taking note and stay away from this seller.
His response to your post: "what's your problem?"
It's an indication of the type of service he will be giving the next customer.

Glad to hear your making way fixing this Cary.
good luck
Lem

Thanx Lem.

Real shame. Had the communication been better would have made all the difference in the world.

I would really feel for someone who would have no idea how to fix it.

Cary

I'm working on a sound board that's powered by an Arduino microcontroller, the Adafruit Wave Shield, and a three-axis accelerometer. It will sort of act like a Wii controller, where you can shake it and it will play a certain sound based on the direction in which you shook it. That way, it won't have any buttons that you need to press.

I'll post more details later.

I also bought an Arduino and Wave Shield from Adafruit. I've been spending the last few weeks teaching myself coding and electronics >.< Please share whatever you come up with. I was thinking of using accelerometers, but I think I'm gonna go with buttons. I don't want random sounds happening just cause I move a certain way...
