My pred suit --WIP--

congrats, man! great job, now definately have to start on BANE, i lkike your suit spots or stripes, no matter looks awesome either or.

Thanks guys! No new updates yet, but I plan on working on finishing the head tonite or tomorrow. We should be going on a 4-10s work schedule next week, if so, then I will have an extra day on the weekend to work on him.

Spent the majority of the weekend on this guy. I worked mainly on the head, so I took my time and tried to do a really good job (y'know cuz the head is a focal point). I made the horns from Sculpey III and also made the quills (out of black), but I haven't added them yet. I also cut out the eyes and had a test fitting before the dreads were added, gonna try it on again tomorrow after the glue has all dried and had time to cure properly. As always, any comments and suggestions are welcome. Enjoy!

Here is an unveiling of my unfinished pred suit from head to toe. My friend Amber was over hanging out and she coaxed me into putting what I had finished on (it was more like "Hey put it all on and I will take pictures"...."OK!!!" ) . I am very happy with the over-all appearance, but I still don't have the feet or dusters made, besides for those the skin is done. Another great thing about this test fitting was I found that the area under one of my armpits still cracks. So I know I have to pay extra attention to that area. This week will definitely be the starting week for my armor, so stay tuned.

**I once again apologize for the pictures, maybe I should think of investing in a better camera???

Thanks a bunch guys!! The only thing that worries me is the area under the armpit. It is minimal, but I am trying to prevent it from spreading....much like the plague!! haha. Anyways, thanks again guys!

Looks pretty sharp! :p

To help prevent the paint from flaking under the armpits, try coating those areas w/ some clear plastidip. It'll create a much more durable layer of protection over the painted surface.

Ok, I have added all of the teeth and painted them and the horns. The horns aren't a solid yellow, I mixed a yellow with some brown and smeared it with my fingers for a worn look, then added more brown to darken the color up and went across ti with a brush to give it some depth.....I think that is it......I will edit if I can think of anything else. Comments?

YAY!! My mask is finished!! Completed the dread rings and beads this morning. I didn't feel it needed rings/beads on the dreads on the bottom side, so I left them blank and left two (one on each side) blank on purpose. The rings are made out of key-chain key rings and leather straps/string and a hot glue gun. The rest are beads of my choice from Hobby Lobby. I took it over to my mom's house to show it off and was able to scare the bejesus out of a neighbor kid and made my brother's bloodhound pee all over herself. Enjoy!!
