My Office/Prop Room/Museum......Pics!!!

splendid job there. I'm getting a robe set. I just need to know what manequin to use and how to get the hands for palpatine ?? Does it have to be a custom jobbie ?

Thanks guys. I strongly recommend any of the flexible mannequins with flexible fingers etc... You can keep the generic head or else replace it with one of these custom busts. My Emperor bust just slips down onto the "headless" mannequin shoulders. The mannequin I got you had an option of head or headless. I'm still searching for hands. Some of the flexible mannequins are available in multiple fabric colors including fleshtone.

Dave :)

That was a Randy Cooper kit that I heavily modified with 1/700 scale battleship parts and tons of scratchbuild details. :) She's roughly 41" long.

Well one of the big reasons these toys are in my business office, is that my wife wanted it out of the house.........LOL. She does love me however. We've been together since 1993.

Whether it be in-thread or pm or whatver - could you possibly pass on where to find such mannequins at a dealer(s) that are reputable?

The collection and display is just mind-bogglingly amazing though...words aren't enough :)

Folks, I´m in talks with an amazing artist who makes coverings for the hands, with nails and all, and he´s checking what to do to make this work

Other than that, hands themselves could be those wooden hands one sees in art stores, with rubber gloves and these coverings, they´d be VERY life-like!

Cool- I love the escape pod model- and I love that it is all ANH classic-beautiful-keep it clean and uncluttered

It's very refreshing to see some Star Wars pieces in someone's collection that not everybody has. I love the escape pod! Your set up is very classy!!

What do you know!? The artist I was talking about IS an RPF´er after all. He goes by Darth Carcinus here, and his hands are indeed the work of a genius artist. I talked to him the day before yesterday and his molds may be shot, but let´s see what he can come up with :)

Isn't he a member on a well known Vader forum? If so he makes really fantastic make-up design:thumbsup He also has a very nice emperor costume.

Excellent stuff Dave, the office looks amazing! Visitors must really be impressed seeing it in person.

The Vader is still my favorite piece. Still working on an interigation droid to go with him?

Re: Updated pics!!! 2-11-09

I am actually. I'm still collecting all the parts. I have all but about 3 items (all original parts) and I'll be ready to assemble. I plan on putting the Interr-droid up on the wall above vader's shoulder.

make that 2 items, I just scored the big one for $400. Had to buy it from France. Saved me $700. Guess I'll order the last few details now.

Dave :)
