I am a 501st member as well (TD/SL/TC/TB 2391). I totally agree about the supposed accuracy and politcs. I tried to be unique in creating a Shocktrooper Commander, but it is not offically accepted. What attracted me in doing a Predator was the uniqueness and artistic talent required to do a good one. Just looking at the Bodycount section gets me fired up everytime and seeing the direction many Predators have taken to make awesome costumes with variations and uniqueness, while still respecting and enhancing the Predator lore.

Thats a great costume, the swords are the only thing throwing me off. They look to clean, are they real or plastic?

the swords are cheapie childrens type plastic swords (the type available at novelty discount stores)
i intend to put a "chestnut ink" wash over the handles,to give them a slightly aged look.
its early days yet,i'll get to the swords at a later date.

IS that what i think it is???....... nah it couldn't be ..but.....we haven't seen one of those in a while
A ******' kick ass predator suit,
I was beginning to wonder what ever happened to the killer suits... glad to see the spirit is still kicking ass and taking names,... that is one awesome piece of work.....very nice homage to the elder...
the sword thing and other tweaks can get worked out later as you mentioned, but damn good work on all the other components.
First suit of the new year.

dan has done a fantastic job with this suit.
he made it fast (6 weeks till it got to me here in new zealand)
and the quality is exceptional.
i fully realise that im praising dan at every opportunity,and it may sound strange to onlookers,.......
but andrew,when i opened the boxes that contained my suit,i couldnt believe my eyes.
people in new zealand generally dont own suits like this (as far as im aware)
so i feel very pleased to own this suit.
it fits me very well,and im in awe of it........
