nice suit what is under the armor did you use a lycra suit to cover up your skin from the armor

Havin spent all my money on the costume build I had to use a lycra T-shirt for the photo's. I'm now working on a partial torso that will be foam filled for muscle mass and will be painted in the Pred skin tones, so when I lift my arms people will only see the Pred's skin and not a black T-shirt, plus havin it parlty foam filled for muscle structure ( The lat area ) so it will also bulk up my top half to match the rest of the beefed up armour.

Just curious, how bearable is the heat when wearing it? Can you stay in it long, depending upon where you are at?

Hi Michael, thanks for the great comment. I did a charity bash at the weekend and the temperature reached above 70" I had the costume on for about two hours and I was fine, my
head was sweating slighty due to the latex mask but all in all it was fantastic to wear with no major problems! I've now upgraded the bio with a hose system connected to a 2 litre water bottle that is hidden in the med pac in a small cooler, this will enable me to drink from as and when required. So all being well when I go to the London film and comic con here in the UK in July I should be real comfy!!

Hi guys, well just a little update on the Full armoured Pred of mine, I have re-worked some of the costume adding stuff and taking stuff away. I've added some skin pieces to the abdomen area to look like fallen prey and from rogue Pred's etc, added a water pipe to the Bonehunter bio connected to a water bottle fitted in the med pac, also added new groin and butt armour sections.Still working on a new back armour which will be more stealth looking in appearance and I'll be posting up new pic's of it as and when it's completed.

Well I got the chance to go the the London Film and Comic Con at Earls Court on the 19th of July and it was the first big event for my Pred costume and well it went down fantastic with the crowds there to say the least!!! I was blown away by all the great comments on the suit and I was buzzing with all the attention I was getting, I was a real photo whore!!
Met a few famous people who were attending on the guest list, Micheal Shanks,Micheal Ironside,Jewel Staite,Kenny Baker,Dave Prowse,Peter Mahew, Had a couple of pic's taken out of costume with a few of them, but I did get one taken with Kenny Baker in the costume and his wife even commented on the Pred by saying it was the best one she had seen, and it was really scary looking, bless her!!!! It was a true honour to meet him and his lovely wife and also to meet such great people as mentioned!!!
Well I've got tons of pic's but I've uploaded a couple to show you guys, also I had a run in with Abe the alien while wandering around and well we just had to get it on, and this guy obliged,cheers dude a true star!!! well I hope you like the pic's, and just to say this costume is now up for sale in the junkyard thread............

Cool sounds good bro ya the preds are expensive specially the skins a seahunter skin runs 600 and a ruffkin 400 so i know the feeling of expsense and you doing the armor and lycra was interesting way to cover those areas where the preds body would be shown. i have been working on my own predator for a few years now and im no where near completion due to just cost :lol.

also i saw you were selling your suit sorry to hear that but good luck on your sale/trade
