Here's my newly painted hockey Goalie helmet with a DV themed paintjob.

Everything was masked and airbrushed NO DECALS. This is a NHL Pro 961 Itech helmet cost $1000 without paintjob.

awesome!! and go Flyers :p Not that you are a Habs fan for sure or anything, just I'm wearing my Flyers jersey today and I'm making assumptions lol

Thanks guys,

Ferrari Red (Rosso) was used for the color.

I'm a New York Ranger fan, they sucked big time this year.

Nice clean work, but very "stencilish" if that's a word. If that was the look you wanted very nice. :cool
The layout is very nice and well placed, good composition.:thumbsup

Thank you for the nice words!

Yes that's exactly the look I wanted, I really wanted DV to stand out and clearly distinguishable from every angle, not too much detail and not a cartoonish look.

Everything had to fit perfectly within the vent holes, like the sizing, positioning ect... without affecting the graphics too much.

Here's some photos of the old paintjob made by another artist which I wasn't that happy with, it had less of a stencil look but was hardly noticeable, most of my teammates never noticed I had DV on my helmet.

Nice! I really like how you used red as a base color. Keeps a nice contrast.

Oh and Go Sharks! (even though its not going to help...)

Gerardo, that looks fantastic! I absolutely love it, a 1000 times better then the old one! IMO it's the simple and clean grafic look that really makes it fly. I absolutely hate the cheezy airbrush look that most of these items usually have but you've really overcome that with your clean and sharp lines. I work as a grafic designer and let me tell you that your design looks VERY professional.

Cheers,

Steve.
