Hey all. Taking a break for a bit from regular models and moving back to making stuff for my Diaclone play/display. I bought a cheap small coffee table for the purpose of making an addon to the repair bay part of the undergroud base for a repair/launch bay for my custom Great Robot Base/ Dia Colossus/GRBPLEX/kitchen sink lol.

Then I bought some repair/display modules at the recommendation from a fellow Diaclone collector who is making his own version of my setup. They arrived earlier today(Saturday)

Just spent an hour gluing them up. Gonna need quite a few more sets of these. And I need to build a floor and large hangar doors.

And may take the control booth from the repair bay and repurpose it as a launch control room.

NICE!!! I think you're really onto something here! :D

Sorry for no new posts. Work beats me up plus been waiting for stuff to come in. Got some thin plywood for backing the walls, and ordered this from Etsy...

Flipped upside down, larger windows and maybe altering the shape will get me the control room I'm wanting.

So got the ttrpg bunker, and am working out what I am doing to make it the control room. I inverted it, so the roof will now be the floor. Also got a roughed out interior set up. I have to wait for the next set of wall parts to come in before I can figure out how I'll install it.

It looks very large-scale. How much time did you spend?
If you mean the main display, it take up most of that wall of the bedroom. Took me about 3 or 4 months to do, and there is still more to do.

There's a ground level, including a WIP cityscape, the main repair bay, a command and control center, and eventually will even have living quarters.
