My lifesize IG-88 project ( IG88 1:1)

This clearly shows what great passion and dedication you have to this character.
He likes incredible. An achievement to be proud of. :cool

Perfection! I'm geeking out just looking at those photos. I had the Kenner 12" IG-88 when I was a kid and it was my favorite. This is so incredible!
Amazing build! Thanks for sharing.

Yours looks awesome. I am very jealous. Here I am as Dash Rendar next to a different IG-88. This was in Florida. I am about 5ft 10 inches, for height comparison. Just thought you would like the pic.

I think I've seen that one before, but the guy who made it isn't on the rpf. I really like it. Captures the essence and doesn't look like the Kenner figure.

Oops

I have pictures of one made 15 years ago or so. I thought yours was that one.

I can post pictures if anyone wants to see it.

Say what!

You know the guy who made it? What are all the bits. Tell us more. This how legends are made here at RPF. Way to go!

It took only two weeks to build it. :) All the pieces came from aircraft scrap but he couldn't tell in detail about the small parts.
The forearm was a tube from a landing gear (titanium alloy).
IG-88 was too tall and did not fit to the set, so they decided to place him in the background and one step down.
As you all know there are no pictures of the back. So this was the mother of all questions to Bill. I was so excited. Unfortunately he doesn't own any pics.
He told me that the back is nearly the same as the front.
