Aawww maaan!!! did you do the whole thing in one shot? remember when I did mime, I did it in quarters, first one side of the front, then let it dry, then the opposite side on the back, for example you do the left left side of the front, then you do the right side of the back, then right side of the front then left side of the back,

Yeah . I did it in very small pieces, the warping came from sitting too long in a high humidty environment... I only used one oz at a time and there is no real "frame" warp just small sags due to moisture.. it will all come out in the Bondo stage I hope!

I use that krylon for the pvc on my fish tanks..it looks like a semi gloss paint...not glossy but not a primer look to it..well that's the color I have seen or bought at Walmart..its great for Plastic

It actually turned out pretty well on the helmet.

It's almost spot on with this color.

I have a little bit more finished with the upper torso, which I scaled to 1.72 (I'm 6'1"). I think it looks right. I'm pretty amped that we're all helping each other out here!

Nice builds over here. Cant wait to post mine too. For now I have finished with both thighs, shins and boots.. All on foam. Took me a couple of tries for the correct scale. I'm 5ft 8.5 in in height. What would be the correct scale for the chest, shoulders and abs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The arm guns are vacuum formed, our friend here wodersquid can make you a set of the guns and gatlin gun...send him a pm, Malik is his name a cool dude to work with....

So I was looking at the pictures of the war machine masked rider is making and I notice that our chest is not looking the same, so I looked at the legacy studios pictures and realized what it was, out model has big trenches around the shoulder blades pods (the part where the ex-wife missile is), I looked again and saw the one we have is way to deep, and the other thing is that one side of the trench angles more that the other, here is what i mean:

So I am pouring some rondo to make it more sallow; and then putty to make the equal. it should look like this:

Yes I noticed that or chest do have more of a gap..I wouldn't pour that much rondo in there I think it muggy crack. the legacy picture or reference picture does have a gap if you zoom in, not as big as our though. The other chest you see with no gaplooks like it was a cat it doesn't have it because maybe its harder to put that in or they preferred not to...well that what I think..if you look at the actual pictures from the movie or other pictures they have it even the toy busy..here some pictures I been going on...

I see but they still not as deep as the ones on our chest, also the angle is not that deep like ours, I think some putty may fix that, I'm even considering just make molds and make the parts lighter, still pondering....

Beautiful work, just a question. How do you figure the adjustment for height and size? I'm 6'4,215 and want to attempt one of these out of foam, where do I start?

I'm not so sure they didn't make it more shallow just for molding purposes? :unsure
A deep seam would be hard to do with no air bubbles or without molding issues.... Gonna leave mine the same, I like it that way, more technical looking, though I admit it will be hard to do much in there as they are narrow gaps. Just have to use the popsickle stick with sand paper glued to it LOL!:lol

I have a question when you adjusted your scale. did you have issues with the peps going over the page border? did u have to modified the pieces to fit on the pages?

If you rescale things then yes you will more than likely have to rearrange pieces.
