My GROOT wip

One of biggest fears was that the mask wouldn't fit once I glued the pieces to go under it. Well... Did a test and it fit great!!! Even holds the mask in place :)

Tomorrow will be a big days of glueing.

Lovely. Really enjoying seeing this come along. Will you stick it all onto a morph suit or put it together a different way?

No morph suit. Glueing it to this jogging track suit I had. Very light weight, breathable and very comfy. Will make it easier to get in and out of. Pants and top will stay separate. Will use bark pieces with industrial Velcro to hide the gaps.

loving your build so far! curious how or what type of glue are you using for the foam tubes to attach to suit? fun stuff-keep up the great work!

More progress this morning. Need to let it all dry and do a fit test just to make sure I can still move :)

To answer motorhead, I'm just using a hot glue gun with glue sticks. Melts the foam a bit and sticks great to the clothing.

Just like Micheal Keaton's Batman... Groot will not be turning his head :)

Groot is very happy with the results so far.

Bark pieces coming along.

Sorry, dont mean to hijack the thread. The last picture on my Groot head thread. The green is sugar/salt dyed. Stuck on with glue sticks/gloss over the top.
