Ooooolovelove How does one go about applying that patina? It makes all the difference in the world!

This one still had water on it after I washed away the steel wool crap left behind.

Patina on this piece is black paint, with a coat of paste wax, which is then heated.

Thanks to Dietrich, he led me to this thread, which by far is one of my favorites. I've been tooling around with the idea of having a sign company make one of these in bronze, to SA specs, but you sir, have already beaten me to it with 5 no less. :lol

It would be a dream come true to be able to use this sign out by the end of my driveway to show everyone how much of a nerd I really am.

Yes please!!! This is on my list of top 5 "MUST HAVES", as we're already working on the X2 communicator. Now all I need is that custom Mazda RX8. :lol
