Yours turned out great, I really like the look of it. I forgot to tell you how much I liked the other one you sent down my way. I still need to put some weathering on it, but it turned out sharp.
I was wondering if you could help me out and possibly explain to me how to get from here ...
to your finished Death Eater mask...
a friend of mine was trying to get into special effects work and what not awhile back but it never evolved to anything. Well the last time I visited he gave me these casts and some clay from when he did a cast of my head a couple years ago. I know nothing of this and was wondering if you might could help me out.
I was wondering Stormtrooperguy
How did you make the eyes looks that sunken i'm trying to make my own but it's causing issues the Sunken area doesn't look defined no matter how hard i try and then the raised eyes don't look right any advice?
It was all just hand sculpted out of clay... to make the eyes sunken I just added more clay to the layer above them. There's no illusion of depth, they just are actually recessed compared to the face of the mask.
@spookykid, that mold is only going to be good for making fake heads... It's a rigid mold to run rubber copies... In order to get a rigid head form to sculpt a mask on, you'll need to have a new lifecast made...
