My Captain James Hook - new image!

Re: Captain James Hook´s hook finally plated

Very nice (and quite unique) costume / display!

Don't forget the Baseball-attachement... :)

Re: Captain James Hook´s hook finally plated

"Oh there you are, Peter".
I love that movie and your amazing hook. Great job, very jealous. :)

Thanks guys... I second that.

RemoLocke--- this sentence you reminded me of led me let shed a tear :confused

Stilgar---you´re right. That would be a cool addition. I would have built it if I would have understood that clasp system that was attached to the glove... :)

(--...always beware of my English---)

This one shows the "Hookster" on an exibition I made 8 Years ago in a shop:

And my ANH Vader together with the movie poster of my old Star Wars Stop motion feature movie...

Re: Captain James Hook´s hook finally plated

"Schön das auch mal solche schönen Stücke in Deutschland heimisch sind... " ;)

Would be cool for a nice Hook Display...

I think about that golden clock, "hook" of hook, maybe a map of Neverland.

Im interested an the Sword of Pan, that would be an axcellent prop... Any swordmakers here?!? :lol

Hi Onkelpsycho,

Wow noch ein Landmann :). Thank you very much for your kind words. The Idea of the golden Clock and the map is awsome :love

I came to the point where I think about a little part of hooks ship. Maybe a flag and a box with red velvet in it, that has the other Hook tools in it. But I don´t know how I can connect this... :confused

Very nice to know that you´re also from Germany. Sorry, I don´t know a swordsmaker here, but the Sword of Pan looks great. I´m behind a Captain Hook sword.

I also have to admit, that I´m very happy to know that there are more people out there that like Hook or Peter Pan. Makes me feel good :love
When I was a little kid Disneys Peter Pan was the ultimate for me :sleep

THEN SOMETIMES I SAW STAR WARS---WOW

Come on guys:
Do you have some other Ideas for a stand?

So, are you going to do a run of the "Hook" for all the jealous people here?

You did a great job! Wouldn't mind getting my hands on a metal one!:cool:thumbsup

Is there any interest out there?

Okay, I´ll check it out then. Hm the metal ones had been very very expencive to me I payed about 1700 Euros just for the 2 metalhooks (brass and aluminium) itself. And have to pay - I don´t know what - for the arm part. I know that went a little bit crazy with this. But I gave it priority. I know it´s in best specialist hands for doing metal casts. But it took a long time already. As soon as I know I let you know what I can do for you with a metal one.

I think I can do a raw cast in polyester/resin for under 250 Euro for two pieces/hook and arm part. I need ten people. If there is any interest I will start a int-thread in the junkyard.

Im interested, too...

Of course a full metal hook is a lot cooler than resin or something... the armpart from resin and a metal hook is nice too.

But I dont want to spend so much money in it...

The sword, yeah... its a nice prop... I will have a look on a few cheap swords. And how you can make Pan's sword from it...

There was a Hook sword, but its sold out. dont know if you can get it anywhere, now...

Look http://www.swblades.com/caphookpirsw.html

Pans sword: there was a toy sword but not useful for a convertion... (of course not)

But if you can make a screenacurate "holding part", I think the egde will be no problem...

Re: Captain James Hook´s hook finally plated

Wow the hook and the life size statue look awesome. Such creative people on this forum.

Re: Captain James Hook´s hook finally plated

Re: My Captain James Hook

I heard that Tony Swatton (one of the guys who made the screen used hook) prepares some official replicas of the hook from the Steven Spielberg movie.
I send you informations when it's confirmed.
