So if I use this point as reference, I get 50.4mm for the height of the mandibles. Thoughts?

2 inches dead flat mandible wall height. The real estate gap below the piece indicates more space needed.

I'm not building my Falcon yet, so I can't say for sure, but 2" makes a lot more sense. Seeing as how 50.4mm is 1.984" and they were using imperial measurements when they built these ships.

So this is 2” tall and 16 15/16ths long. Just a test fit. Should I have that much blank at the end? I’ll cut it down to account for the top and bottom of the mandible.
