Here are some beauty shots of #23. I have to say I was ready to hate this model with all the problems I had in getting it, but it's just so cool. For looks I have to give it a 10 out of 10.
I was lucky and there are no paint chips on the primary hull. The docking bay has a slight light leek and I'm finding many of the "problems" identified by others are just not visible to the naked eye, at least not my eyes and my model. It looks to me like there may be a slight problem with the laser cutting cleanly through the paint but I still love this ship. And there may be a bit of masking problems on the impulse engines.
The motors are a bit loud for me but I don't like gear motors. Hopefully they will be quite in a plex case.
All in all this is still a better model than I could have built and I've built a few.
If you see a flaw, keep it to yourself. Ignorance is bliss.
Oh, and MR was nice enough to leave the "probe" off the bottom of the dish. It's user installed, or in my case user left off.

Don't know if you know it or not but the MR is supposed to have the internal metal skeleton to keep it from doing what the Unobtanium did. So you should not need any kind of supporting.
This was mentioned really early on and was a big concern in the beggining develpment stages and was one of the big things of this model.

Yes, I read that. but have not seen any pictures of how that goes together. metal struts put in a plastic hole could still lead to problems. Of course we owners are now life-testing the ships.
Yes, I'm paranoid, but these have been an unlucky design in the past.
