MR Stormtrooper Helmet

:angry :angry :angry :angry

All I can say is avoid any MR helmets.

MR, STICK TO MAKING THE EASY STUFF LIKE LIGHTSABERS...

Trooper looks so bad its not even worth commenting.....

The way I look at it is: The helmet may not be perfect or screen accurate, but the fans will buy it, and it gives FX owners another upgrade choice.

Honestly it looks much better than all the other licensed helmets, unless someone would rather own an Altmans or a Rubies.

You've hit the nail on the head. The problem is all the licensed replicas have been pretty crap. MR have the chance to get it right for the first time ever. Unfortunately if they did get it right then the way it would look wouldn't be great business as it wouldn't shift many units to anybody apart from the purists.

Cheers Chris.

True though, that if they're going to be that cheap, there might be a huge shift in helmet size for troopers all over the world. FX buckets being used as insulation, punch bowls, really huge halloween candy buckets. Cheap items from MR, who woulda thought?

Originally the price tag was estimated at $99 for the symmetrical CE[/b]

:cry

Didn't they do away with the CE line?

If they produced the symmetrical version at that price I can think of about 3,000 customers off the top of my head. Hell I'd buy one and I don't even have a TK.

What the heck does wonky mean?

It is some weird british term? Makes no sense to me in california.
All it sounds like is candy-related.

It means asymmetrically inbalanced - turned or twisted toward one side.

Not to be confused with "wanky" which means something else entirely.

Cheers

Yes, unfortunately they did. I would definitely have been interested in one of those too before buying the more expensive screen accurate EE version.

But... alas... they changed the whole deal from 3 versions to one version and changed from plastic to fiberglass... so I guess we can expect a much higher price.

LOL. JJ i can see it now, people giving there FX buckets to there kids to carry upside down for halloween. LOL.

best candy bucket EVER...

and jedig60racer... wonky is a universal PROP term. :p

i just wish they would do 2 versions, and on the wonky craptastic accurate version they should have screen cap comparisons and a story on the props on MRs site to get all the non RPFers of the world up to speed. :p

maybe then they would get it... probably not :unsure
