Updated whats going on..


Still nothing on my helmet. Should have been here on the 25th or so says DHL. My CC was charged on the 24th. But someone has dropped the ball. Dotcom got a shipment in but mine is still there, at least DHL says. So far no one knows. I have not gotten a call back from the lady in charge of the MR area there called in the morning when they opened and this afternoon. I call MR and they have no one there who can help, the people I want to talk to are at Comic Con. So many fingers going to other people. This deal is now sour, sure the helmet will make me happy but what makes me upset is one hand has no idea what the other is doing.

After much frustration with DHL mine finally arrived today! Got 1 for me and 1 for a friend. Here they are together with a flash and non-flash shot to show the reflection quality. :)

i got an email fro MR apologizing because they had to cancel orders because they oversold their stock...so basically my order was cancelled because they didnt have any, not because i asked to, so i wouldnt have gotten one anyway :(

WOW Big difference! almost everything is off on the MR. It's worth the $175 though but wouldn't pay $400

Mine just arrived. It ROCKS! None of the prior reported problems (except the squished sides) are evident. For $203.85 delivered, you can't beat this with a stick! :cool
 
Mine is lost. I have been told my next step is Amy @ MR. Everyone says she is great so finally I get to see her work her magic to find my helmet. Over all Im a bit down about the whole helmet deal. Great price but I've spent 3 hours between 3 different locations (Dotcom,MR, and DHL) and 3 days over due on getting it. So I've spent more on phone calls using my cell then I feel is needed.

MR and Dotcom have been helpful trying to find my order. It took 2 days to get in touch with the right people to do so though.

Will post pics if I get my helmet. :unsure
 
I framed the "card" that came with the helmet along with the edition plaque....... figured this was the best way to display these peices with the helmet
 
I ordered mine in the last hour or two of the sale and only got this.

"I am sorry but we have oversold this item. We are currently trying to
get more from one of our retailers. If we are unable to we will have
to cancel the order. Again I am sorry for this."
 
I wrote back and they resent the label. I'm just wondering how they can send another if they are 'sold out'? Do I risk it or not? Hehe!
 
still no luck my end either what happend to all the ones people sent back, no mail from them since the 26th :confused
i dont want to contact them just incase they cancel my order:cry
 
Amy just got back from Comic Con. I would call and talk with her.


I've been put on hold more then I can handle. I'll just wait till my order shows now lol.

Yeah, I just got back from SDCC, and there's mine waiting for me. Wonder if this is a street-legal crash helmet? :)
