Another example of how the UK is always getting screwed. I guess the cost of maintaining all that security has its price. That or Fedex hates the English

I bet the customs guys will be expecting a healthy bonus too after an expensive christmas.

Sounds as if you've been taken.

How did you pay? If you used a credit card (even through PayPal), file a claim with the issuer of your card immediately. Be prepared to provide them with as complete an accounting of the incident as you can manage, including dates, figures, any relevant correspondence you have saved, and whatever contact information for the eBay seller you have (even if no longer good). It's likely that your credit card company will credit your account while they investigate your claim. If the guy racked up 60 negs in the last 6 months, my guess is that the investigators will conclude the seller was a con artist and you'll get to keep the reimbursement.

I have always used USPS EMS, is trackable and it works really nice...

Because the direct MR shipping was so expensive I've got a mate in the US to send it onto me $50 UPS.

I just checked on MR's site and couldnt find the shipping rates (not on the faq) so went through the procedure of "buying" one of the white clones and the cheapest shipping price that came up was $190.

Am I doing something wrong as it seems crazy to me.

Yes mate, that is really crazy ... Paying 190$ for the shippings ??? NO WAY ... ...

If they cant offer you a lower shipping rates, try to send it to any friend in the US and then resend it to you... That shipping is insane ...

I hope you can find they way...

In other hand, I would recomend you to get it through a dealer instead of MR directly, You will get a lower price and a lower shippings...(Why did you ordered it throught MR mate ??)

P.S. I´m dying to get my OPS and white ones

Leo, I'm glad it wasnt just me who couldnt find the shipping rates :lol

Ben - I thought the Special OPs was a "MR Site Exclusive" whereas the other one (whichever it was red/blue) was a "Dealer Exclusive" . I never normally order direct from MR because of their crazy shipping prices.

However like I said in this case I'm getting it shipped to me from a mate in the US but it seems a bit dumb to have a box go at half price via 2 locations than it costs to go direct. I'm sure the issue is Fedex but MR needs to be more flexible on shipping companies especially as their new strategy is to only see the LE's direct.

Methinks MR needs a EU hub.

Its actually the other way around, the Special Ops is the blue dealer exclusive, and the red was the MR one

FYI, to ship a bucket to Canada direct from MR is just over $100US, so going to England @ $190 seems "a deal" - LOL.

The Special Ops was specific retailer only, the Shocktrooper was MR direct & if anybody wants, IS STILL AVAILABLE - not available online but if u call, they still have stock - $399 before shipping....

Nice set of helmets :thumbsup I would really love to do an "evolution" display with the AotC, RotS, and ANH helmets like that. I just don't have a fix on a good AotC helmet.
