It looks 10000000 times better than some of the "paint" jobs on some of the sandtroopers....who look like they painted the dirt on. Which...well they did. FE looks much more natural.

i really dont get why people would want anything other than the all white... to me charging extra for that innacurate looking stripe is well... yeah.

im sure you can get someone here to make it WAY cooler than the slapped on paint MR has put on it, i used to say, "why doesnt MR have a pic of the actual helmets on their site"... now i know.

i just dont get it.

its an awesome piece, and if you want to have them all for your collection... i can understand that... but paying more for what you actually get if your only getting the one... i just cant see it.

and im VERY curious about the CE stuff... God when are we gonna see or hear anything???

Resale value. Limited Edition just screams "buy me".


Personally, I may resell my SOps helmet later. That's part of the reason I opted for it, rather than the plain one.

According to the owner of that helm, they used a spray bottle and watered down paint to achieve the dust/dirt effect.
I should try that on my tusken...

im sure that these will hold their value better than the plain janes but... yeah.

Yeah, I was just thinking that earlier. I LOVE Bly's helmet. IMO, he has the best one, and you just reminded me- I wanted to replace their Bly with MY Bly.

For black you can use black tempera, as long as the helmet is clear coated & not porous.

But why, Why, WHy, WHY would anyone weather it but leave the mohawk wrong. I know matching the color paint will be hard which argues for the get the clean one & paint it up right.

I'm getting a bit concerned I'll never recieve my helmet. I did the advance purchase on Ebay when they first came out. Now I checked out the seller and he's no longer a registered user and racked up 60 Neg. in the last 6 months. I think I lost my money and helmet. Is it too late to file a claim?.

Jez, I think $190 for the shipping is a complety RIP OFF...

I´m from Spain, and I have never payed SO MUCH in a helmet box...

I will tell you more, I recieved an electric gutiar with a hard case and the shipping were $130, and it weights more tha 13 Kg. and more than 1 meter tall...

So, what kind of shipping method are you using ??? 2 days UPS or Fedex ???

I have always used USPS EMS, is trackable and it works really nice...

In any case, good luck ... and let us know when you recieved it.
