MR CloneTrooper Helmet ARRIVES !! PICS !!!

Tonka,
I'm gonna have to mirrror everyone else's response... beautiful pics, man. Just plain awesome. Great lookin' prop replica regardless of the arguments. But I have a question for you folks... Are the stripes on the bucket a decal or are they painted on? Just curious (I've got a plain jane on order).
Happy New Year's from Texas, all.

CHEERS.

Must see more pics...this thing looks fabulous. Heck I wanna see more pics of CT helmets wherever they came from...fanmade or MR. I love the ROTS CT design more than any other trooper design in the entire saga.

He was checking an insult, that is all. Badd Blood said...

It's not that the helmets are out of scale, it's that you're out of scale with the CG files... now go lose some head fat.

This was Tim's response...
With that witty reparte the MR should fit you perfectly.  It appears your head is already 7% too small.

And Badd Blood is Shaaaaaming me. oh well.

I got mine in Saturday morning and it's fantastic in every respect. The blue stripes are painted on, no decals anywhere. Everything looks precisely hand painted. You can also see the screen door material through the frown, but it's not cut out. There is an additional pad that velcros in the crown of the helmet so various folks can adjust it for size. I took it to our Garrison New Years party and about six different guys tried it on with no problem. The only guy who had a hard time with it was a former Marine who weighed 270lbs..

I'd take pictures, but I think the one's already posted look fine. I will pose with it wearing what finished UNK Clone Armor I have, so you guys have a better idea of the proportions. Stay tuned for those pics soon...

Got mine in friday and its absolutly stunning, and best part of all #72. Can't wait to get my red shock helmet.
Only helmet I missed out of the collection was a blue one, I think my ret is on the waiting list for it incase anyone cancels but we'll see I guess. :confused

BTW, I noticed some of you talked about taking a white helmet and painting it, who does the paint jobs and weathering?

Thanks.

Mine should be here in a couple of days - I cant wait.

I never bothered with the Vader as much prefer the OT look but may be persuaded

Cheers

Jez, are you sure your house or your website can still take more helmets ? :p

For all those that have received this helmet, I have a question. Is the green/mustard yellow stripe suppose to be one solid uniform color? I have just opened mine yesterday and noticed the coloring of the stripe just above the visor is a different shade then the rest of the stripe on the helmet. It is much lighter in color than the rest of the stripe and it is pretty noticeable. Just wondering if this is a paint defect or is it normal? Just wanted to see what you guys thought before contacting SWS to swap this out for another one. Thanks.

Here's what a "little" weathering can do... :D

I like the weather look alot better that the clean white out of the box look.
You already spent $400, why not a little more to make it look even more screen accurate :)
