ok no worries im wanting a exact replica also

for extra money would you be willing to sell the patterns also and how to do it etc

iv had a passion for a long time for mr blobby and i would love to be able to make one etc if you dont have time to make a few etc

Wow this thread has exploded since I last posted. Enjoying seeing the Blobby love. Sadly I only ever got the eyes done but would love to get back into this project so if anyone does have patterns I’d love to see them. Regarding original patterns & blueprints of the Blobby costume the only person who might have had them was a chap called Dominic Murray. He was subcontracted by the BBC to make some of the original costumes but sued in 95 in a dispute over the character. He passed away a few years ago however so the original blueprints might be lost to time. Which tbf makes sense as all the Blobby’s through the years ( Gotcha’s, the VHS tapes,Live & kicking etc) all look different in some way.

Oh really I've enjoyed doing the body really want to start my Mrs blobby just it's getting the effort to do the feet and arms I'm having trouble with if you put your costume back on ebay I'll message you my contact details so we can talk more

Inspired by everyone I thought I’d try to restart my Blobby. It’s not perfect at the moment ( i think I’ll need to make it shorter. The eyes haven’t been attached yet but this is just a test head at moment.

Yeah I’ll post some updated pics, got the body and legs done now, next I’ll need to get the pink latex type material on but I’m not sure how that will go haha.

The closest i got too dimensions was from the Propstore when they had one at auction a few years back. They measured it 130x80x80cm. Unfortunately that's all the info i have i'm afraid.
