I find it odd that on a replica prop board, there would be such venom and ambivalence spewed toward an official licensee that is making products available at a level of quality that has never before been on the market.
A licensed studio-scale USS Enterprise?.? I'm not a Trek fan, but isn't this a good thing for those who are?
Why are we criticizing them so much? So they've missed a few ship dates, so what? There are manufacturing problems in all industries. It happens. They haven't charged your credit card have they? If they have and your product has not yet arrived, then I would side with you any day of the week. But they haven't charged your CC have they? But your order is guaranteed to arrive. Wouldn't we rather have a high-quality product than one that has defects?
A Fett helmet for me will be a dream come true as I don't have the talents or resources to make one for myself. I will be there on order day to get one and I am sooooo thankful to even have the opportunity to order one.
Let's cut them some slack, huh? For all their faults, they have brought products to market that were pipe dreams for DECADES. We have it really, really good right now.
We are in the middle of a golden age.
As always, feel free to rebut my argument, fellas. Don't be shy.
