Which series is the assault phaser from? There are different types.

I am not following. The Assault phaser was used in STV/VI. What other types are you referring to?

I am not going to get exited about anything until the complete there 2005 Promises. As far as I am concerned MR can pack up or fold up. Let someone else take over who can actual make good on orders.

Don't get too upset. If you're waiting on something I guarantee once you have it you'll realize it was worth the wait. If you're not waiting then don't jump on the MR hating bandwagon just yet... MR has done nothing but deliver awesome products (yes with delays, but those are to be expected in this business).

The thing that bothers me about this is that MR wants to keep all of the LEs to themselves and sell them strictly from their website. That means no more finding great deals on sabers from retailers or ebay. I dont know if I like this new plan of theirs at all.

Unless those "SW" helmets turn out like the "Rocketeer" helmet.

$10 says the Boba Fett helmet will be a idealized version like the Trooper and Rocketeer buckets. Just gotta gut feeling on it.

You're not a Rocketeer fan, are you?

I'll take that bet. I think it will be exactly as it is in the movies. Boba is one person with destinctive helmet wear. The clones are all different.

Wow. "Studio scale" USS Enterprise... why that must be the 11 footer.

Thanks MR. Now where do I have room to put it... let's see... :p

It will be interesting what material they use to produce the model. And what similarities and differences to the ill-fated Unobtainium Ltd. prop I own.
Lighting/sounds, etc.
Price tag? :) Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

What would be real cool for MR to offer is a Full Size R2 (for those of us that aren't gifted in building one on our own)

I find it odd that on a replica prop board, there would be such venom and ambivalence spewed toward an official licensee that is making products available at a level of quality that has never before been on the market.

A licensed studio-scale USS Enterprise?.? I'm not a Trek fan, but isn't this a good thing for those who are?

Why are we criticizing them so much? So they've missed a few ship dates, so what? There are manufacturing problems in all industries. It happens. They haven't charged your credit card have they? If they have and your product has not yet arrived, then I would side with you any day of the week. But they haven't charged your CC have they? But your order is guaranteed to arrive. Wouldn't we rather have a high-quality product than one that has defects?

A Fett helmet for me will be a dream come true as I don't have the talents or resources to make one for myself. I will be there on order day to get one and I am sooooo thankful to even have the opportunity to order one.

Let's cut them some slack, huh? For all their faults, they have brought products to market that were pipe dreams for DECADES. We have it really, really good right now.

We are in the middle of a golden age.

As always, feel free to rebut my argument, fellas. Don't be shy. :)

I really like some of the items but I wont be buying any of them as I live in Australia and refuse to pay the ridiculous shipping costs.MR you need more shipping options for overseas buyers.

Not happy about the CE's and all the implications that go along with them. :thumbsdown
But I am SO stoked about the Trek stuff.. I knew I was putting off building my Wakal phaser for a reason... :thumbsup

AMEN too that..... Cost me a small fortune to get a Rocketeer helmet sent down to me to my neck of the woods.Only to be massively disapointed by the quality & condition of the helmet. It woulda cost way to much to send it back to the U.S, so was very lucky to off load the helmet locally and recoup my costs.

It will never happen. R2 is complicated if you want to do him right.

They would have to charge $6000 to $8000 for him.

Use the R2 Builders Club as a resource and build your own. It's fun.

Two things. I have to second the thing mentioned above. Shiipng the thing from the US to Germany (incl all the importing fees, taxes etc. will almost double the price) I think You never dealed with a German tax office guy, have You?

And the second thing, a ANH Luke LE as well as the SE?. Didn´t MR tell us that there was no such thing in the pipeline for the next yaer some months ago? I therefore got the EE, because I wanted it now. And it was quite expensive and hard to get it here in Germany (btw, still haven´t my second plaque) and now I get the news that a most like more movie accurate and cheaper version or even better a signed edition?. Sorry, but I´m more than pissed. If it was 2007 with the appearance of the 3D version it would have been ok, but this way.... I´m more than pissed, sorry. Thanks MR fpr burning my money.
