MPP authenticity check

Hey everybody,
I wanted to ask for some expert opinion whether you think this MPP Flash could be real or not. I‘ve been browsing and comparing the big MPP-Threads here for hours and although I can‘t find any obvious red flags, the nameplate looks off to me (I think it doesn‘t fit properly and I‘m not sure about the „R“).

At first look it seems genuine. One thing is no one makes a replica of the two-step shroud, and the Heiland 2 step shroud has considerable differences so this one looks real.

Real vintage MPP ... just the wrong 2 step shroud for Vader's lightsaber, which can be replaced by a replica made by Roy at wannawanga ... here's my vintage MPP with nameplate ... the R is the same as yours, disregard the tiny scratch

Is it common for real MPPs to have this kind of "burn marks" around the port holes ?

Looks like thin plating in that area, I’ve seen that kind of stuff before

Definitely a real one. Can tell by the plating and the B-port size. Like others said its just a 2-step

Thanks, I asked as I've only seen something like this on the current batch of Roman's replicas (but they have a large b-port)

never hurts to ask! i believe it has to do with the size of the oval shapes, on the radius of the flash tube that makes these imprefections
