Neither of which are the pin shown in Mike Moon's bogus auction from a few years ago. BUT, my source confirms the pin on his suspenders is also a Marika pin. So he lucked out in having a genuine piece, just not a piece from the show.

Hi guy's I was so glad I just revisted this thread. Very happy indeed. I'm doing my own sculpt of Robin at home learning portraiture. Long way to go but so nice to see the update from loraximas907. I did a little mock up in printing out the pins that I'm going to sculpt with paper a while back to try and work out scale. I saw there were different versions in publicity and auction images. To see the Larry Lee Moniz post and pin originally was amazing. But now so nice to see scale and also the history of the original sculptor amazing! Well done loraximas907 for sharing. Would love these pins. I searched and searched months ago for them. To put a name and face to the maker is lovely for me. I'm doing Robin older but a nod to where I first saw him as Mork.

From the book A Charmed Life by Marika Somogyi. She made these for some extra income on her kitchen table. She would make large batches of each and then sell them to art galleries and stores across the country. Obviously a costumer/prop master found them.

When Paramount mass produced knock off versions of the pins for Mork & Mindy merch (of which she saw no compensation), she took them to court (which they settled out of.)

Theoretically, there should be dozens of Hands and Moons out there.

It'd be fun to know if any of these others still exist.

I'm gagged! That's an amazing found! Can only wish to find at least one some day haha

Been working for a retail company casting and finishing pieces since October so no time. Suffering with back problems so concentrating on me, left job and getting back to some sculpture/learning. A little more progress.

I made these ones for my own cosplay! I think the ruffles are a bit bulky and the rocket is a tad thick but apart from that I’m happy with them! Gonna get the backings for them all tomorrow lol

Quite possibly the best idea! I think the pins’ll cost a ton even if you find them
