Mork's vest was definitively made by "SKI DADDLE" a division of "Pack-In Products"
The shell & lining were nylon. Insulation was 50% duck down and 50% small waterfowl feathers.

I just today received this little purchase from eBay (see below). It's the exact same "brand" finger pin used in Mork & Mindy on Robin Williams' suspenders. It looks like the pins were not custom made, but were indeed just off the shelf. It was ironically framed in a box, and had a label on the back that said "Fine Arts Gallery. Original Oil Paintings. 39-10 Union St. - Flushing. Tel: 763-3410." They didn't say how old the item was. It is rather cheaply made, and looks almost hand made. I paid $25.00 for it... totally worth it! It's a bit yellowed due to the varnish aging (it was coated on one side). It is approximately 1.5" X 2.5". I'd love to find the moon pin next!

OMG!! Jealous! :p

In the pilot episode, Mork wears a 5th pin (above the moon). Ive been squinting to find out what it is to no avail- does anyone have a better picture/know what it is?

I haven't visited this thread in a while. It's a Witch! When digging a few years ago, I found a promo picture of him and there it was!

Here's another from a different promo image. I've fully fallen down the rabbit hole again.

Spent a few hours going through the Getty archive, got these from some of the Promo shoots. Enjoy! If you find one, let me know if there's any extras.

Might have figured out the Witch Pin, but still haven't found one.

Attached are two cartoon witches: The first being Witch Hazel/Wanda Witch (Disney, 1952) and Witch Hazel (Warner Bros., 1954)

Both of their profiles match, down to the large nose and windswept hat. But I'm not finding anything confirming Disney or Warner Bros. ever made pins of them back then. The only thing that's leading me to think this is accessibility; a readily-available item.

Finally came! Absolutely love it. Description from the seller:
"From a limited edition made of clay by Berkeley artist Marika Somogyi."

I'm hesitant to do too much cleaning to it. The varnish has caused the yellowing, reading up on removing varnish and what it could do to the clay. Straightening the finger is definitely a no go.

It looks incredibly similar to Larry Lee Moniz pin from 2017. That leads me to believe these were all made by hand by the same artist, leaning towards Marika Somogyi.

But if this is from the original artist, I'm very happy to have it.

An article about Marika! It's possible she made the Moon and Rocket Ship as well.

Article here.

Edit: was able to confirm she also made the Moon, did not make the Rocket.

From the book A Charmed Life by Marika Somogyi. She made these for some extra income on her kitchen table. She would make large batches of each and then sell them to art galleries and stores across the country. Obviously a costumer/prop master found them.

When Paramount mass produced knock off versions of the pins for Mork & Mindy merch (of which she saw no compensation), she took them to court (which they settled out of.)

Theoretically, there should be dozens of Hands and Moons out there.

It'd be fun to know if any of these others still exist.

In my digging, I realized they had at least two of the Moon pin for the show. Pictures attached.

First picture is from early on in the show (hence the hair length.) The second is from the 4th season, it's one of many press photos when Jonathan Winters joined the show.

It's possible the first pin may have been lost or broken, in which it's likely the costumer/prop master had initially bought a second pin for safety. My source that confirmed the ID of my Hand pin confirms that both of these were also made by her.

(Hopefully someday, someone appreciates the hours I've lost.)

(Here's to you.)
