Finally got around to ordering the last detail I needed in order to be able to mold the muzzle assembly, this Ithaca M37 shotgun mag tube nut:
Once it shows up, I'll mold this last one thing and be ready to start shipping out kits.

Will you only be offering raw casts or finished versions also?

Combined shipping is not really going to be an option. They're a pretty snug fit in the boxes I'm using.

In other news, I've finally had a minute to finish the molds for the action and the magazine:
And the pump grip for the shotgun:
The only thing left to mold is the muzzle:
I just need to add the shotgun barrel and the little ramp bit that connects it to the mag tube cap:
This piece will just attach to the end of the rifle body like so:
So any day now I'll be able to mold that. Once that happens and I have a good, clean kit out of the molds, I will no longer be offering the pre-order price.

Got a bit sidetracked, but I finally finished the prototype for the last detail the other day:
Sometime today it finally went under the rubber:
Sometime tomorrow it'll be de-molded and the first casts will be poured:
I'm still going to offer the reduced pre-order price until I post the first picture of a complete set of cast parts, so if you've been on the fence, now's your last chance to get a price break.

The whole assembly will glue onto the end of the rifle body as shown here:
A complete set of parts weighs just under six and a half pounds:
And finally, here's a pic of a complete set of cast parts fresh out of the molds:
I've got the first few kits packed and ready to ship. I'll be sending PayPal invoices for those of you who are waiting on kits momentarily.
