I always love seeing ME related threads as I love the games and storyline so much. Mordin was one of the best characters from ME2 and that sculpt is amazing! I can't wait to see it finished, wish I had the money to get a commission done!

Casted and painted with acrylic airbrush. The eyes are tinted PET from a spherical bottle cut and glued in to place.

Thanks all for the positive comments.
I don't plan on making replicas of this at the moment but I may later in the year. I will offer them in the Junkyard if I make any spares.

Like suggested previously, I would certainly highten the neck & make eyes through two descrete mouth holes. It would benefit the overall apperance greatly. (Like, for an opposite example, making the clove feet, which 1% would notice at best...) That would also open up the possibility for future eye modifications, like an animatronic latex eyelid. Over the top maybe, but getting Mordin his neck would just make things a million more times awesome.

I saw you at PAX! I tried to make my way over to you guys but you guys, (and my friends and I) were mobbed for pictures. We were the ones dressed as ghostbusters.

I considered that when building the mask. You are completely wrong but that's OK. The head would be even more insanely out of proportion with the rest of the body. Like I said earlier to have a human head in the neck you would have to have the character's head the size of a sports mascot costume. The real solution would have been a model with a smaller head and longer neck. This was not an option. Of my friends who volunteered to wear the costume this person was as good as I could get. A lanky thin female would have worked better but again, that was not an option this time.
