I just googled and it appears that Japan has made a model of it .

As contec posted above, Wave produced kits of Nemo's "automobile" and the Nautilus from the film. Pricey for what you get (compared to pricing on most domestic styrene kits), but very well detailed. Here's an example:

Both kits were initially released in early 2005 and have been out of production for quite some time. Finding them these days can be difficult, and most sellers are asking far more than the original retail price.

That car would be cool to have indeed, i would love to make a version of the
villians rectangular plate steel automatic guns as well.
Anybody done one of those or have some pics of the screen ones?

Bizarre - just this weekend we had relatives over; one of which knew a man who apparently built a large scale model of this car for the film.

In addition to the full-size car, they used several scaled-down remote controlled and cable controlled versions for effects shots.
