Mockle's Templar 40K Space Marine

Re: Templar 40K Space Marine 7' Full Size WIP

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but the actual fluff states that botlgun/pistol rounds are .75 caliber, regards of the height of the individual (in universe) using them. If you made a bolt 40mm in diameter, it would look completely out of scale with the rest of the design aesthetic from the 40k universe.

Unless by "blaster," you mean something completely different, but I'm not familiar with any typical marine armament named as such.

Its going to work out :D

Hey, it's your project, but 40mm is more than twice as large as the round should be according to the fluff. I wouldn't put too much faith in fan-based artwork, especially when it's completely with odds with artworks published by the likes of John Blanche and his ilk.

Did you print those fingers with a 3D printer or did you order them? If you printed them, how long did it take?

Im in a little jealous you've gotten so far!! Nice work! I picked up the frame for my shoulders today...

I agree with this. Great build and all, but I don't know why you would make a bolt larger than the gun barrel that it's supposed to exit? It's little details like that that really grate on me when I'm reading 40k etc. haha. But honestly loving the build of this - wish we had the technology to genuinely create powered suits etc on this level.

Trust me its a 1029 Scale size will look normal you will see the shells.. If anything the barrel is to big if you had to be technically speaking for a .75cal round :D
