Apparently the cars from the Cars of the Stars Museum in Keswick (Lake District) in England are going for sale on Ebay, the current owner wants to keep them all together so will be sold as a "job lot" to a collector.

*Edit* Have just researched a little more and the cars are actually being sold individually!

i had an email off them this morning. the cars are being sold as a whole but later on in the year.. they have two cars on ebay right now. a starsky & hutch movie car with no engine for £5.000 in not great condition & a knight rider which is not screen authenticated. It says it was recovered from a field in idaho with a tree growing out of it. LOL. Dont get to excited nothing special is going to come up for auction.

The KITT car on ebay isn't the same car in the original post.

It is a very poorly done replica. I can name where all the
parts came from just by looking at it. I wouldn't give em
$100.00 for it let alone what he wants. Looks like one big
P.O.S. to me. The other cars don't look like original film cars
either.

Any fool with some computer skills can create a certificate of
authenticity too.

Sorry to say,

But everything has been sold to a single car collector in Florida. Yes, the whole lot...As far as i know, everything has already been shipped to the US.

Both museums are closed, and a new one been build in FA, opeing in sept or oct, i believe.
