I'm not saying you're a fiend. But I am saying that you involve CT's voice in a discussion from which he should be excluded as a banned member. Just because you cover your ass with disclaimers like
Doesn't mean your not involving CT in the discussion here.
And when, instead of responding to people on this forum, you go over to CT's twitter feed to slag them off, you're bringing CT into the mix, because you get to insult people off the board and then they are unable to respond to those insults without bringing up CT's twitter feed and blog.
Couple things:
1) The inclusion of insight gained into a prop from a banned member is not the same as the inclusion of said member's voice. I have my own voice, and it is the only voice I use. I am not a mouthpiece. Accusations to the contrary are insulting and, frankly, getting on my nerves.
2) The quote where I posted a disclaimer for Mooneye was from a while back when the policy regarding this particular banned member was quite a bit less stringent than it has currently become, but during a time when some of us had received a string warning about such things. I was just looking out for a member who was trying to bring new information to light about a prop and didn't want to see him falsely accused of shilling for linking to a photo of a screen-used prop.
3) You're still upset that I responded to a tweet, saying that it took a big ego to use your work as a stand-in for the original prop? It does. And your assertion that he had done the same is disingenuous because you snipped it out of a page, but stopped JUST short of the comparisons to the original prop which were the crux of the matter. Furthermore, I didn't bring anyone into the mix, I REPLIED to a tweet that was already about this thread.
4) Lastly, I post things that are relevant to the discussion here. If it's not relevant, maybe I'll discuss it elsewhere. If you would like to discuss something that isn't relevant to props, join the Twitter discussion that so many of us have. OM did and he came away with a different opinion.
But "slagging off" people? No, I don't do that. I made mention of your hubris. I at one point (some weeks ago) said something about how I could no longer stand Phez... But I never derided anyone's work or efforts at prop building... That's not accurate, actually. There is one person's prop that I derided. But outside of these forums. Because these forums are for being constructive. Here, I would tell that person how I think they could improve their prop, if I thought they'd care to hear it. But my Twitter feed is for what I really think. And if I typed on here the way I speak in the real world, it would be nothing but a bunch of asterisks.
