Bad? No way! That's awesome for a first attempt. I bet most guys first attempts were much worse than that. I know mine was! :lolthis is my first attempt at doing any pep building. i used this file and was just trying to get a feel for it and the different cardobard. i would say it's pretty bad, but for the first attempt, it got me excited to try the second attempt..

Didn't notice this post until now!southpaw, you have mentioned that you did the unfold for foam and cardboard. is there a thickness or type of cardboard that would work best for this?
so you use the kind that's "corragated" like this?? isn't that tough to get to curve??

thanks southpaw, you have been really helpful. i just got done reading through his helmet build thread, he is a great builder. his hammerhead build thread is in my subscriptions list, but haven't started reading that yet, just not enough time in the day, too much good stuff going on on THERPF..It's actually surprisingly not that hard. Just make any main curve go along the corrugation lines.
Check out some of Kryro's builds, he uses cardboard for his suits, his MK 38 is especially good!
Oh yes,
So I was playing around with Pepakura's texture settings....
They look amazing! I am planning to make them but I have a question : Will it fit for a 6'0" person? Do I have to channge scale?
Any plans on making one of these suits? From what I've seen of your Hulkbuster thread, you seem more than capable!
I've added a new file to the first post that will help those needing to scale the suit, which I'm sure is almost everyone that will use these. Good luck and happy building everyone!
