Thanks all, I have some new high temperature silicone to try out. the biggest problem I'm having is that the 'Mold Star 30' is shrinking too much and that throws the fitment off. As soon as I nail this problem it will be full stream ahead!

Any chance of getting specific parts like metal cylinders?

I wish I could but its far to complicated for me to cast in metal and I dont have the equipment to mill them or the time. One of my main gaols of this kit is to make the price accessible as possible hence some of my material choices. The cylinder in resin being one of them.

Yes, the white metal cylinders are probably more reliable. They are Charter Arms after all.

If you’re in the states it’s my understanding that cylinder’s typically don’t have to be processed through an FFL. That’s why items like .44 cylinder show up on eBay.

Although I may be wrong as I havnt done any firearm purchasing in a long while.

From what I have tried to find,just about any part of this gun can be purchased on eBay or elsewhere, with the exception of the portion of the frame that holds the cylinder. I am not sure if it is to do with the fact that a gun can be built around it….now that I think of it,that is where the serial # would be so would require background check etc for it to change hands maybe..?

I'm not sure why you're responding with such sarcastic vitriol.

I was asking an authentic question. Right now, there are two Charter Arms .44 cylinders for sale on ebay. If you're in the USA, they're readily available and you don't need a license to purchase them. Is there a reason why these parts won't work to upgrade a Tomenosuko blaster? I don't own one. Do real charter arms parts not fit?

no offense meant bud, I have a very dry sense of humor. there is a reason it takes months or years for people to make a blaster as accurate as possable. REAL STEEL part's are expensive. plus depending on what's available, at the time you have disposable income. as a single parent all mine went to christmas for my son.... soooo "I dont understand" "two available" as you pointed out is moot. YOU have no idea what a person's budget, bill's, family life is. so hey, buy them up and post them in the junk yard with no extra charges and s.h. and paypal fee's bro! show me how cheap/easy it is to do a build/mod to a real steel blaster. it's just my 2 cent's on "how hard" it is to obtain a grail piece. again I am not trying to start an argument or anything.... just expand your vision alil..
