Could you give us a little insight/mini tutorial on how you rigged the RC car to open and close the helmet? Love your costuming method!

Of course! I will warn anyone who wants to try it, there is a LOT of trial and error and it's very difficult.
Basically, I opened up a remote control car and took out the rear motor(along with it's plastic housing that has a few gears that transfer the motion to the rear axel) and the circuit board in the middle that it's attached to, and then I tossed the rest. I then removed one of the gears in the housing and ran it along some clay and made a silicone mold of that, then cast it in plastic to get the drive belt. Then I cut a slot in the plastic housing of the motor that lines up with the gear I used to make the belt, so all you have to do is stick the end of the belt in, and the motor will move it back and forth! From there all you have to do is attach it to the faceplate.

That has to be one of the best suits I have ever seen! Congratulations! I expected you to fly at the end of your video! Can't wait to see what's next!

You're detailing is awesome! I'm going to definitely be looking back over your entire build thread to see what you've done. I think I'll be using some of your pieces as reference for worn look I want to achieve on Mikey's armor.

:confused Did you use one-way mirrors for the eyes or did you photoshop them to look white?
looks like the right side of your hip broke loose. Gotta get that fixed. Dont wanna see all that work you did goto waste....

No, there are just slits under the light boxes. and NO, NO PHOTOSHOPPING in any of my pics in this thread. and though I would hardly call my hip piece being unvelcroed "all of my work going to waste," yeah I wish it had been together for those pics
