MCL34N's Amazing Spidey- 1 Year Later (New Pics Bottom of 29)

Re: MCL34N's WIP Amazing Spidey Costume (UPDATED 6-13)(Pic Heavy)

So now that you've shamlessly plugged your thread, would your opinion on the prospect of this thread being locked have changed since?

Anyway, this is a personal message to MCL34N. I don't know how you were able to put up with the BS from this Graham scammer character. I recently discovered that he tried to do the exact same thing with my own mask project. I can understand how you've lost interest or the passion for the hobby, as have I. I was furious! Anyway, hope you reconsider. I'd very much like to see a lot more from you on here. Thanks for the encouragement.

I feel like a stalker but what the hell, I thought you were done with the RPF?.

I don't think he should be shown any door. Just cause he's done with his thread doesn't mean he can't check out other peoples work

Re: MCL34N's WIP Amazing Spidey Costume (UPDATED 6-13)(Pic Heavy)

Very well said. I am entiled to think what ever I want about the site, there's no rule stipulating you must love therpf undoubtedly without question. Sure I said all those things but out of frustration. Frustration that people like you who don't constructively contribute to anything on the forum decide that its okay to verbally put someone down who is clearly distraught by the event that someone has misappropriated his hard work. How very big of you people.

Now, let's not get this thread locked either. As there is still a possibility that MCL34N might wish to pick back up from where he left off.

Hi guy's I'm still rather new to the board, but I've been costuming on my own for a bit, anyway, I've been working on my suit, and practicing as well with the puff paint... I think I've found a similar situation like merc and power regarding flow control, but have been able to keep it in the bottle so you can still steady with one hand and squeeze with the other.

Here are Bottles by Jacquard

They come with 3 metal tips, stainless steel so can be cleaned easily. the three tips are sized at .5 mm .7mm and .9 mm

here is a pic of the tip on the bottle.

I didnt try on the lycra yet cause i wanted to show it on black and white so you could see the control and flow i was able to achieve.

Pretty good for doing that in about 5 minutes. i printed real quick and then moved steady with good control!

Best part... those tips and the bottles were only 8 bucks for the 3 pack!

which tip did you actually use for the webbing and honeycomb pattern?

^^^^^^
Nice.
You should do a work in progress thread.
Most people that have done the puffing got the metal tips too with MCL34Ns advice.

Re: MCL34N's WIP Amazing Spidey Costume (UPDATED 6-13)(Pic Heavy)

ive been trying to foucus on the honey comb pattern a little bit and i understand that Mcl34n used sillicone...but i dont know what that is or where to find it, so i was thinking that i should cut of a piece of the honey comb patteren off my little brothers "batman house" and trace it on to the spandex....i also thought that it would be easy to get red and blue spandex suits from the website called superfan suits...i will use the entire red one and cut and sew the correct shaped pieces to the red spandex morph suit. soo once i trace the pattern on the spandex in washable marker (incase i mess up) i will go over it in puff paint! hopefully this helps....if it dose help then tell me i would love to see some replies!!

MCL34N used silicon on his spiders. I don't anything on how to do that.
The rest of the suit is puffy paint. Black lines, red and blue honeycomb.

There are a couple of people on the site that have done what you want to do quite well.

Re: MCL34N's WIP Amazing Spidey Costume (UPDATED 6-13)(Pic Heavy)

MCL34N said he would eventually put up a tutorial on how to apply the silicon spider after he gets finished with making the sewing instructions for his prints.:thumbsup

Re: MCL34N's WIP Amazing Spidey Mask (Pic Heavy)

I agree. This is an amazing mask, sir. I'm new to all of this sort of, but I've heard about the puff painting technique with this amazing spider-man suit, but I'd like to see how it's done, and what exactly is needed. How do you get such an awesome mask from scratch. I can draw, sew, and create, but for some reason or another can't think of wear to even begin to start a creation like this. Help us McL34n!

Guys can anybody help me . Months ago very long there was this guy who a posted a vid on him doing the blue puffy. If anybody here knows or recall ,mind sharing the link ? Thanks !
