Nicely done. :thumbsup I'm a sucker for a good uniform reproduction, having done several for my collection over the years. I was lucky enough to get a copy of "Dressed to Kill" when at the Royal Navy Museum several years ago. I'm stunned at the ridiculous prices you found on them. There must be a seller somewhere that has a more reasonable price. You'd think it was published in the 1800's the way they have them marked up. It has been a great reference for me and if you can't find a copy, the National Maritime Museum in the UK has a large number of pictures from their uniform collection online, many of them of the ones in the book. I made a lot of use of the book when making my Full Dress RN uniform not long after I got the book. The BOOK made me to do it. :lol
One thing about the faux pockets on the jacket, this is historically accurate for the time. Pockets were sewn into the back lining of the jacket tail, I'm not sure about the vest or pants though, those should have been functional. There are tons of other things about 19th century uniforms but I'll stay away from starting a long history lesson. :sleep The shoulder boards are missing on this picture, they were residing on a different uniform at the time.
