I don't understand why everyone's so bent out of shape over the flashing from the mold seams. They're mostly in areas that are heavily textured, so if you do even the slightest bit of work cleaning them up and spray on a coat of Duplicolor Truck Bed Coating (which is what I used on the prototype) you'll match the texture and never see any of the bubbles you're filling. Rustoleum has a similar product, but I forget what it's called off the top of my head.
The only area that needs any real fixing work is the back end above the grip. Since it's just flat, that should be pretty easy to fill and sand smooth. If you've spent more than two hours on prep work, you're overdoing it.

The black text I just used a Q-Tip dampened with thinner to gently remove the layer of silver paint, leaving the black layer behind. Gives a much cleaner look than trying to paint the letters by hand.
The white graphics were masked as pictured.

This one really needs alot less work to get it up to snuff. I coul probably get this done fairly quick, but with my full-time job, it's still only giving me one or two days a week to work on my commisions, but this should come out nicely.
