Mass Effect FemShep Hahne-Kedar Armor + Props

Some printed leg parts! I think the calf piece is too small, so I am reprinting it. It will be a bit loose, but I am going to put foam inside for a snug fit. The game model actually has what looks like padding inside the calves.

Yep, you'll have to mod it for your measurements...seems to me that everything will have to be bigger with foam inserts to make sure it snug;)
Seeing your thigh piece, it seems a little too small also...Eager to see your next update!

Im not willing to reprint the thighs. I'm very eco conscious and save all my 3D printing waste for recycling. If it's too small, it's a loss I'll have to take because I can't justify the plastic waste of 2 large pieces for a very minimal size difference (I printed them together).

As long as you're happy with the results;)

This is what the chest print looks like. I have cuts all over my hands from taking supports off these prints lol. This one is gonna be a huge pain!

I've been printing non-stop! I thought I would have to cut a lot of pieces but I have actually been able to print everything in one piece and even multiple pieces at once. Very grateful for my new FLSun Super Racer .

I had not had a single print fail... Until now. Cura had great difficulty slicing this neck guard and errored out often. The prints failed twice in 2 different orientations. I lost 15-20 hours of printing and an entire roll of filament on failures.

Finally, I tried a less than ideal orientation, a glue stick on the print bed, and much slower print speeds to achieve a successful print. The supports weighed 146 grams (almost the same as the actual piece). The supports took both me and my husbands full body weight and strength to pull off! Got more injuries in the process and it will need a lot of sanding but very pleased to have this troublemaker printed. Also relieved to try it on and see that it sits nicely on my shoulders.

Excuse the tape, but... THE ARMOR IS FULLY PRINTED (sort of)!! Not pictured is the leg and crotch armor. Everything that is modeled is printed, which means only the shoes and a few buckles are left to both model and print. Also not pictured is the underneath shoulder pads which was printing at the time these photos were taken.
