Always thought those landing legs made the saucers in the movie look inherently evil. Great work! I'd be tempted to get a kit!

Thanks every one, i designed a sprocket looking part to index the legs into the proper position, as soon as i get it back from the laser cutter ill post pics. Plus ill include the part in the kit.

Ok all the molds are done. i Molded the large saucers in tooling Concrete, they came out great. im going to layup the first set of parts Saturday, and should have the completed model mocked up on Sunday.

Just like Welles' Martians.. I'm gazing on this activity with envious eyes and slowly but surely drawing my plans to get my hands on one

Got the first pulls out of the mold, everything looks good, did a quick trim. got it mocked up to check everything. so going to lay up some more parts and build the clients ship and ill move ahead on kits for those who want them.
