Mars Attacks (saucer)

I started this a while back for a friend, the large saucer pieces are 15 1/2" and the smaller ones are 6". I drew all the parts out in Cad, and had the legs laser cut, not all parts are pictured. i am using two part urethane expanding foam (THANKS TO REL FOR THE ADVICE). I pour the foam into the saucer cross sections and sand to shape. ive got the two smaller sections ready for Vac forming, the larger parts i have already poured the foam but still in the sanding process. so heres a bunch of pics.

Thanks for Looking.

This is awesome! I always wanted to see a large model of this! I used to have one of the small garage kits, I really wish something this size would make it's way out there as a kit.

Thanks Guys,

As for a kit. its possible, if interested send me a PM. not going to give a price or how many will be as of yet, once i see what it takes to finish off the first one ill give a price and let everyone know how many ill make, if at all.

Thanks Al

The Betty and this rock! Such different spacecraft, same talent and skills from a great artist! I'm going back and checking out all your threads. Really magnificent.
