This is looking really nice. I'm currently just starting on my own mk45 also from Do3d. Hope mine looks as good as yours when I'm done.
Awesome work! The back looks ridiculously cool. I can't help with the code though, but I would benefit from it too. I'll have separate flaps as well on my suit.
Thanks Leylander. I am really struggling with this step of the build. I want to get all 4 servos to open and close via a magnetic switch but I am clueless on the right coding and a little shady on the proper wiring configuration. It would be great if I had the code and just go in and adjust the degree required for each flap.
Hopefully someone can help chime in and guide us along. I would imagine that both our back pieces are pretty close as far as the number of flaps however for mine I also need to power the 6 LEDs that are in the Mark 46 chest and back and also the Arch Reactor on the same Arduino, I'm pretty much at a stand still at this point not to mention my printer is also down for the count. until new parts to come in. :The small fan used to cool the extruder is bad.
You may try the helmet code separately for pairs on each side. Thanks wannabe.
Installed the flaps but still have a little work to do. Need to work on the hinges a bit more and If anyone has a good code for to run the 4 servos please let me know. I'm using a aurdrino uno and 4 hi-tech servos (HS-311) to run the flaps. There weight is between 25 grams for the small ones and 50 grams for the larger ones.

Man visit James Burton YouTube channel and checkout his hulkbuster built, I am damn sure bout the reactor partThanks Leylander. I am really struggling with this step of the build. I'm not sure if anyone have came across a hinge set up for the MK46 helmet just yet but I found this on the internet, figured it would maybe help give someone ideas for the mechanics on the MK46 helmet. Sorry these were the best images I could find, terrible quality!
