Mark 40 Shotgun WIp

BSD, just out of curiosity, how much do you think it would cost to 3d print the entire suit? I don't have a printer yet and have no idea what the material spools cost.

To do a whole suit would take a very long time.. To be honest I have no idea what the coast would be.

I printed out the helmet in 48 hours at 150 mm/s . If you have a FDM 3d printer printing the entire suit might not a good idea unless you are willing to spend some time on remodelling the whole suit to be printed without support. Estimating the whole suit will take from 500 to 550 h to be printed, with a 0,50 € per H printing cost ( electricity ) it will cost between 300 $. You should do like me, print only the helmet and some parts and pep the rest of the armor. with 100$ you should fiberglass and bondo the whole armor. Hope it helps ;)

Had a chance to wear the Mark 40 suit over the weekend.... had a little twist to mine though. Thank you for the work you've done on the model. Much appreciated.

Amazing work! I am very happy to see not only you made it batman armor but also that someone finished it before me.. The paint and mods you did are awesome!... You are the first batman armor are you not?

Nah.... there's been a couple of them. Of course probably more and just not shared on the boards or online. But.... this is the only Mark 40 version!!! Thanks!

I want to start off by saying that this model is amazing, but I was wondering if all the the files are going to get turned into paper ones because I dont really like foam ones to be honest.

Here is what mine ended up looking like.. Not supper happy with it. I rushed it and placed the shoulders in the wrong spot but people loved it at the con.
