Mara Jade MOTS saber

I was suggested to tackle the Mara Jade Saber from the Mysteries of the Sith game. I was provided with these references:

That was prety much it

So here is my preliminary model.

I still havent figured out how it all attaches together but it will be fully installable with a 7/8" blade socket.

Sizewise I am thinking it should be similar to Luke's ROTJ V1.

If the cost is right and there is enough interest, i will add this to the Legends sabers line.

What's the diameter at the grips? I think it should be more like the prequel size sabers. Most women's hands are smaller than men, The 1.5 inch (37mm) lightsabers are uncomfortable for some people. That's why the prequel sabers were a smaller diameter.

Yes that is exactly what i used its 35mm on the grip. I can make it 34 if needed.

What's the length of your Luke? 11 or 11.25? The original prop was 11.25" but a lot of replicas, including MR's are 11 because they're based on shrunken castings.

Just trying to imagine the scale in my mind

Also, are you thinking raw aluminum and raw brass for the finish (so ppl can chemically weather as they like) or do you have some particular ideas about a finish that seems more appropriate to this game?

11" my model is really old like 2006ish. Before I got the saber bug...

I'm not sure about the materials, finish or construction yet... so Im also open to suggesitons.

Thats the Roman Props I believe.

Thanks and yeah im open to suggestions, so far I have the Dooku Jedi knight and this one. I already have a Plo koon model (power of the jedi toy line) but im not sure its the same

Man I would so love one of these Mara Jade hilts and a Yun or a Katarn DF2 hilt. I was late to the game and missed out on the runs in the past

Or jedi academy hilt runs. To be honest lots of hilts from the older games have a great design. I know Jawas did an arbiter run.

I shrikned it a bit from 11 inches to 10.625 and the grip diameter to 34

Played so much of this game back in the day but I forgot about this particular hilt. The design is great, definitely interested in this project.

Is this from Clone Wars? Bane is supposed to have a hooked handle similar to Dooku's (in the novels).

Not new at all. That particular version was, to my knowledge, first illustrated in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, from 2008. Darth Bane's lightsaber/Legends

Off the top of my head, I don't think Bane has ever been accurately portrayed with the correct lightsaber.

Something is off.

The page shows the straight hilt but the description says curved.
